Kierston, the founder of Bookkeeping for Contractors, created this course because she understands the unique challenges contractors face when it comes to managing their finances. After transitioning from a career in firefighting to bookkeeping, Kierston recognized a gap in the industry—contractors often struggle with bookkeeping and don’t always have access to the support they need, especially if they’re just starting or managing their books on their own.

Coming from a family of contractors, including carpenters, plumbers, and HVAC technicians, she saw firsthand how overwhelming it can be to stay on top of financials while running a busy construction business. Since 2017, she’s been committed to helping contractors reduce their stress, master their bookkeeping, and grow their businesses with confidence.
